Service Description

On a Private Marine Safari, you will have the boat just for you and your friends, in the company of a certified guide and a local captain. The expedition normally starts at 8:00 AM but on a Private Safari you have the option to change the departure time after booking. On a marine safari, you embark on a species-watching expedition around La Ventana Bay and Cerralvo Island. Each excursion is different and full of surprises due to the abundant diversity of marine fauna that inhabits these waters. The main attraction is the congregations of Mobula Munkiana that during the season from April to June and October to December form schools where there can be from dozens to thousands of specimens congregated in the same place, this being a great spectacle for those who jump into the water to swim with them, as well as those who watch them jump non-stop from the comfort of the boat. On a safari it is common to encounter these docile and beautiful animals, as well as dolphins, sea lions, turtles and giant manta rays. It is also possible, if you are lucky, to find orcas, whales, marlins and other species of pelagic fish. On a safari you always have to be ready to be surprised!
